The meeting participants discussed prolongation of the moratorium on sale of farmlands. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada called important the adoption of a roadmap of bills that would help regulate the issue.
Parubiy also called important the speediest regulation of the issue legislatively.
At the same time, Andriy Parubiy noted that politicization of the problems would never facilitate their resolution.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada informed representatives of the agricultural sector that the Parliament would host a meeting of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations and called on representatives of the agricultural sector along with representatives of the Committee and the Government to take part in the meeting to discuss all the problems and take required decisions. He expressed confidence that "it is quite possible to find a systemic solution."
