During his official visit to the French Republic, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, had a number of important bilateral meetings.
In particular, on Thursday, Andriy Parubiy met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, President of Bundestag (German parliament) Norbert Lammert and Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Nils Muiznieks.
Among the prospects of further development of cooperation between European countries and Ukraine the major topic was the speediest decision of the European Parliament to introduce visa-free regime for the Ukrainian citizens.
Representatives of the European political class assured the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of their support.
