The bill (Reg. No. 7003) guarantees
rational use of soil; healthcare and protection of the environment, as it gives
impetus to the organic production in Ukraine, arranges favourable
conditions for production and consumption of organic produce, and forms a
comprehensive system of organic sector development in Ukraine.
The bill sets the principles of the governmental policy and the fundamentals of organic production; determines the authorities of administration bodies; fixes the general requirements for production, processing and sale of organic produce.
People´s Deputies believe that adoption of the bill will raise the volume of production of the competitive agricultural produce, fill the domestic market with high-quality foodstuffs, and arrange prerequisites for the healthy lifestyle.
