The bill (Reg. No. 7521) fixes the
maternity grant for the first child at the level of 30 rates of a minimum level
subsistence; for the second child - 60 rates of a minimum level subsistence; for
the third and each successive child - 120 rates of a minimum level subsistence.
The bill also extends the period for the maternity grant to be paid. The first payment at the level of 10 rates of a minimum level subsistence shall be effected by the birth of a child, while the rest of the maternity grant for the first child is payable on a monthly basis during the next 24 months; for the second child during 48 months; for the third and each successive child during 72 months in equal portions under the order established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
