The bill (Reg. No. 3320) orders legislative definition of operator´s responsibility for the nuclear damage. The bill harmonizes responsibility established by Clause 75 of the Law "On the Use of Nuclear Energy, and Nuclear Safety" with Part 1 of Clause 6 of the Law "On Civil Responsibility for Nuclear Damage, and its Financial Coverage". Pursuant to the bill, "operator´s responsibility for the nuclear damage is restricted by a sum equal to 150 million of Special loan rights (5 million for research reactors) for every nuclear incident.
