The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget for 2009" (re Financial Stabilization of the Coal-Mining Enterprises)

The legislative act envisages an extra source of payments effected by the energy-producing companies, fuel-burning power plants, for the coal products of the State coal-mining enterprises to ensure timely payment of wages to the coal-miners.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 5394.
