The Committee on Judicial Policy recommends that the Parliament adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Notary Service Board" (re the Authority on Notarial Actions of the Officials of the Local Self-Governing Bodies)

During the meeting it was stressed that the Bill (Reg.№3586) is aimed at "the solving of the moderateness of notarial services in the inhabited places where there are no notaries". In particular it is planned to return to the officials the authority to attest the authenticity of the copies (photo copies) of the documents and their abstracts, witness a signature.

The members of the Committee emphasized on the necessity of the amendments to the article 245 of the Civil Code of Ukraine that should be scrutinized with this Bill.
