During the meeting it was stressed that the Bill (Reg.№3586) is aimed at "the solving of the moderateness of notarial services in the inhabited places where there are no notaries". In particular it is planned to return to the officials the authority to attest the authenticity of the copies (photo copies) of the documents and their abstracts, witness a signature.
The members of the Committee emphasized on the necessity of the amendments to the article 245 of the Civil Code of Ukraine that should be scrutinized with this Bill.
