The bill (Reg. No. 1688) suggests eliminating gaps in the applicable
legislation and broadening categories of persons who have the right to be
granted the status of a combatant, participant of war or a disabled war
veteran.
The document stipulates in particular:
amending clause 19 of part one of article 6 of the Law in the part of recognizing military men of the State Special Transportation Service; rank and file and command staff of the State Emergency Service and State Penitentiary Service as combatants;
supplementing part one of article 6 of the Law with a new clause 20;
supplementing part two of article 7 of the Law with new clauses 10 – 12;
supplementing article 9 of the Law with a new clause 13;
amending article 10 of the Law.
