Opening the meeting, the head of the Committee Andriy Ivanchuk stressed the necessity to determine the priority of bill consideration by the Committee.
Under the instruction from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the proposals of the committee to the draft agenda of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the VII convocation were approved.
A. Ivanchuk said that it is proposed to include 18 bills, including 4 bills that were adopted as a basis by the parliament of previous convocation.
The committee is also considering the bills, submitted by people’s deputies of the present convocation. In particular, on return of principal branches of national economy owned by citizens and legal entities into state ownership (nationalization), on transfer of Ukrainian economy to the innovative model of development, on priority measures to prevent the increase of prices and tariffs for housing and utility services, on return of privatized enterprises of strategic branches of economy into state ownership, etc.
In addition, people’s deputies discussed the questions and determined specific areas of work according to the Committee’s subject of competence.
