The introduction of new sanctions against the aggressor country by the European Union and the United States is evidence of the unity of our partners and their commitment to achieving peace through strength.
This was stated by Mariia Mezentseva-Fedorenko, Member of Parliament, Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Ukraine's Integration with the EU, and Head of the Ukrainian Delegation to the PACE.
"Our partners are depriving russia of the resources it uses to manufacture weapons for strikes on kindergartens, civilian enterprises, energy infrastructure, etc. And today, economic restrictions are being imposed not only on russian oil, petroleum products, and the ‘shadow fleet,’ but also on crypto platforms that russia uses to circumvent sanctions," the politician noted.
She stressed that the introduction of new restrictions against russia is a clear victory for Ukrainian diplomacy, as well as for the civil society sector and all Ukrainians who contributed to promoting this issue.
‘We believe in our victory and we believe in a just peace through strength,’ the MP concluded.
