On 23 October 2025, an online meeting was held between members of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy and representatives of the Danish Parliament's Committee on Environment and Food.

Opening the event, Committee Chair Oleksandr Haidu expressed gratitude to Denmark for its consistent support of Ukraine, particularly in the process of European integration, as well as for its assistance in the adoption of the EU Council's decision to increase tariff quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of agricultural sector development, adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European Union standards, support for exports of Ukrainian products to the European market, and the development of processing and bioenergy.

It was also emphasised that cooperation between Ukraine and Denmark in the agricultural sector is an important element in ensuring food security in Europe, and that the modernisation of Ukrainian agriculture contributes to the strengthening of European value chains.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to deepen interparliamentary cooperation and work together to strengthen the sustainability of Ukraine's agricultural sector in the face of new challenges.

The meeting was also attended by Serhiш Labazyuk, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Development of Processing in the Agricultural Sector, Promotion of Bioenergy and Specialised Associations, Chair of the Subcommittee on Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to European Union Law Marina Nikitina, Member of the Danish Parliament's Committee on Environment and Food, Spokesperson for the Social Democratic Party Bjarne Laustsen.
