The Committee on Education, Science and Innovation held the field meeting on the basis of the State Enterprise of Ukraine "International Children's Center 'Artek'".

The children's speeches were devoted to the modernization of education in the modern Ukrainian school. In particular, students raised issues of educational content, excessive homework, class size, advantages and disadvantages of distance learning, as well as logistics of educational institutions.
The participants of the field meeting discussed the problems of the institution. In particular, it is registration of land plots, purchase by the state of 90% of vouchers to the Artek, proper financing, restoration of material and technical base of children's center, staffing with pedagogical workers, restoration of tradition of international changes and festival programs, etc.
"In fact, Artek is starting its second life. Our task is to help it. After all, the sanatorium on the basis of which the camp operates has an outdated infrastructure. Therefore, it is necessary to create a modern base for the rehabilitation, upbringing and recreation of children," said Chairperson of the Committee Serhiy Babak.
At the end of the meeting with the Artek residents, Chairperson of the Committee Serhiy Babak, on behalf of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Education and Science, presented the Artek residents with a quadcopter.
