Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, calls for taking necessary measures to overcome the financial crisis.
At the press conference held in Dnipropetrovsk on Friday, A.Yatseniuk emphasized the necessity to restore crediting in pre-crisis amounts, as it would give impetus to the formation of domestic market.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recommends that the National Bank reduces the rates of refinancing. Taking into account slump in prices for energy resources, A.Yatseniuk deems necessary to declare actual moratorium on rise of tariffs for electricity for industry and tariffs for transportation of energy resources.
A.Yatseniuk also deems unreasonable to raise taxes and duties under the current situation, as it bears negative influence on economy under the conditions of crisis.
A.Yatseniuk considers infrastructure projects "from communal to the national ones, formation of domestic market by means of governmental order and governmental financing" to be the basic direction of use of funds of the State Budget and Stabilization Fund.
