Pursuant to the Committee´s Resolution, Volodymyr Polokhalo, the Committee Chairman, will head the Tender Committee. The Tender Committee will also include Kateryna Samoilyk, the Committee Secretary, Mykhailo Zubets, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Science, Vitaliy Kurylo, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Professional Education, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and specialized academies of sciences.
At the meeting, Mykhailo Zubets, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Science, reported on relevant works submitted for the contest, pursuant to The Verkhovna Rada Resolution "On Establishment of Personal Grants of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the most Talented Young Scholars" (Reg. No. 774-V).
According to the People´s Deputy, 34 applicants submitted their works for the contest. 15 works were submitted by the Ministry of Education and Science, 7 by National Academy of Sciences, 2 by the Ministry of Health; the Ministry for Emergency Situations and Protection of Population against Chornobyl Disaster Consequences and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy submitted one work each. Moreover, Kyiv City Council submitted 6 works for the contest.
18 Doctors of Sciences have a claim on 10 grants for 2 thousand Hryvnias monthly each, 14 Candidates of Sciences have a claim on 20 grants for 1 thousand Hryvnias monthly each.
As regards the fields of science, the works submitted for the contest include 7 works in technical sciences, 6 in physical and mathematical, 5 in medical, 4 in economic and 1 work in each of the following sciences: pedagogy, philology, psychology, history, chemistry and agriculture.
