The Bill (Reg. No. 4026) aims at reduction of expenses connected with registration of privatization documents on the land plots for individual or collective gardening by the citizens of Ukraine members of gardening associations.
People´s Deputy I. Shkira, the author of the Bill, deems necessary to adopt the Law in view of the fact that effective Land Code of Ukraine envisages no-charge privatization of land plots by the citizens of Ukraine for individual or collective gardening.
However, the real cost of registration of privatization documents for an average Ukrainian ranges from 400 to 700 Hryvnias (depending on the region). The subjects of individual and collective gardening are usually represented by old-age persons members of gardening associations whose income is limited by pensions and minor social payments. Therefore, such expenses on the privatization of land plots are unacceptable for the said categories of the public.
The Bill envisages a new wording of Part 1 of Article 35 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
Author is of the opinion that adoption of the Law will enable to preserve infrastructure of gardening associations and will contribute to purposeful exploitation of land resources of Ukraine.
