During the meeting, held on request of the Polish Party, Ihor Sharov informed Mr L.Szerepka of lawmaking activity of the Committee, aimed at thorough protection of human rights, and of chief courses of Committee´s work. Inter alia, the Committee Chairman dwelled on state of international relations in Ukraine and legal support of needs of national minorities.
The Parties drew special attention to possible means of settling the complicated situation at Ukrainian-Polish border that originated after Poland joined the Schengen zone. The Parties expressed mutual interest in further cooperation between the Committee and Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine.
