The Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament ratifies the Protocol to the Treaty on Partnership and Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union and its Member States (TPC) on the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania Joining the TPC

At the Committee meeting it was stated that adoption of the Bill (Reg. No 0013) will complete State internal procedures on bringing the Protocol into effect and evading contractual-legal vacuum, formed due suspension of effect of several bilateral agreements with Ukraine by Bulgaria and Romania owing to their membership in the European Union.

At the meeting it was emphasized that ratification of the Protocol, signed on 27 March 2007 in Brussels, will promote mutually beneficial economical, social, financial, civil, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation between the said States.
