The Bill (Reg. No. 4043), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, introduces amendments and supplements to the Law of Ukraine "On Transactions with the Customer-Provided Raw Materials in External Economic Relations", which impose a ban on sale of final production, manufactured from the customer-provided raw materials of groups 01-24 of Ukrainian Classification of Commodities of Foreign Economic Activity, on the customs territory of Ukraine. The amendments and supplements also aim at improvement of the procedure of performing transactions with the customer-provided raw materials in external economic relations.
It is expected to supplement Article 2 of the Law with the part that runs as follows: "cost of final production manufactured on the customs territory of Ukraine, can not be less than the customs cost of imported customer-provided raw materials and the cost paid (or liable to be paid) for recycling (processing, concentration or exploitation) of these raw materials."
The authors are of the opinion that adoption of the Law will create conditions for protection of internal agricultural production market and its manufacture development, produce additional revenue to the State budget, promote workers´ employment and settlement of other social issues.
