These proposals are included in the Bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Status of the People´s Deputy of Ukraine" (re limitation of occupation of the post of the People´s Deputy of Ukraine by one person), which was submitted by the People´s Deputy of Ukraine V. Pylypyshyn to The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Bill (Reg. No. 1241) envisages amendments to the effective Law, according to which "one and the same person can not be the People´s Deputy of Ukraine for more than two terms in succession".
According to the author, the adoption of the Bill will create prerequisites for change and renewal of political elite in Ukraine, which will grant the professional and vigorous deputies the opportunity of coming into the legislative body and consolidating democratic traditions in Ukraine.
