On Thursday, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olexander Moroz attended the Freshers' Initiation Ceremony at the O. Bohomolets National Medical University.
Congratulating the students "on a responsible event" beginning of a new academic year, O.Moroz stated that at present future physicians have all opportunities to "meet the needs of society with their actions."
According to the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in spite of increase in wages of medical specialists for 40 % this year, "the demands are much higher, the State fails to create due conditions for physicians´ work. However, rise in funds for the development of this field will take place together with rise in economy development of the country". O.Moroz is deeply convinced that "one can not respect the society, in which doctors, teachers and intelligence are on the verge of poverty".
Addressing the freshers, O.Moroz wished them to receive assignments to the jobs, receive dwelling, work on modern equipment due to the high level of their knowledge and skills. Students should "emit their energy, good mood, knowledge and skills", studying in the educational establishment that meets the requirements of the best higher educational institutions of the world.
