The Bill (Reg. No. 1262) proposes to adjust the Dismissal procedure for the Chairman of Ukraine's State Property Fund, and inter alia, amend the Laws of Ukraine 'On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine' and 'On Privatisation of State Property' and envisages that the Chairman of the Ukraine's State Property Fund can be dismissed from his/her position by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, subject to a representation from The Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The Author of this Bill, the People's Deputy Valeriy Pysarenko, believes that a transparent procedure for dismissal of The Chairman of Ukraine's State Property Fund will be laid down once this Bill has been passed, thus providing stability in the operation of this Fund which is a significant body in the field of Privatisation.
