The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, O. Moroz, awarded a ‘top grade´ to The 2008 State Budget, drafted by the Government.
'The State Budget is testimony to the effectiveness of the course pursued by The Coalition and Cabinet of Ministers indicating the progress of The Budget on the basis of the development of the economy,' said O. Moroz at a Press Conference in Zaporizhzhia on Wednesday.
He said that The Draft Budget envisages increased expenditure towards investments in the economy and its further intensification, leading to increased Budget Revenues and improved Social Guarantees for the people.
The wages of Healthcare Workers will be substantially increased, as will also expenditure on Education and Science sectors, according to O. Moroz.
'The Budget envisages a continuing upward growth in the pattern of Ukraine's progress,' he stressed.
