The Budget Committee recommends that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine includes in its Agenda, for further consideration, The Draft Law on The State Budget of Ukraine 2008

This decision was taken at today´s Committee Meeting, at which the Government presented The Draft Law on The State Budget of Ukraine 2008 (Reg. No.4000).

The preliminary analysis by the Committee demonstrated that The Draft State Budget is in line with The Budget Code of Ukraine, and with the practice used in preparation of such Drafts.

The Committee recommends that Legislative Initiators adhere to Clause 40, Parts 1 and 2, of The Budget Code of Ukraine in the putting together their proposals for this Draft Law, and submit them to the Committee no later than 1 October.
