During the third Session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 5th Convocation, the Committee on Construction, Town-Planning, and Housing and Utility Services devoted attention mainly to the improvement of legislative base in the fields of construction and housing and utility services.
Inter alia, the Committee prepared 27 Bills for parliamentary consideration, 7 of them were adopted in the entirety, 4 were passed as a basis. The Committee held 4 Committee hearings and 14 meetings (1 of which was field meeting), at which they considered 78 issues. The Committee considered and rendered exhaustive responses to 121 letters and appeals from the citizens, establishments, institutions and organizations.
The Law "On Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Execution of State Architectural and Construction Supervision and Incentives to Investment Activity in Construction", that consolidates State importance in securing safe construction, is of special importance among the legislative acts adopted by the Parliament.
