Olexander Moroz, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to conclude the constitutional reform. He announced that at the 11th Session of Zhytomyr Regional Council of he 5th Convocation.
According to O.Moroz, political reform should be by all means completed and the issue of our integration into Europe finally decided
He marked that implementation of the political reform will settle the problems and eliminate artificial tension in relations within the authorities.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called for introducing amendments to election legislation in the part of party elite rotation. He also explained that it is proposed to combine election by party rolls with assignment of every candidate for the deputy´s position to particular electoral district.
O.Moroz criticized establishment of imperative mandate for the deputies of the local councils, characterizing it as an attempt to shift responsibility of parties´ inability to form the electoral rolls from the people in responsibility of that.
