This, together with other proposals, are included in the Bill ‘On Amendments to Clause 41 of the Commercial Procedural Code of Ukraine´ (relating to Forensic Examinations), introduced in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by the People´s Deputy, Yu. Myroshnychenko.

This Bill (Reg. No. 1088) envisages the assigning of Forensic Examinations to specialist institutions or independent persons meeting the requirements laid down in the Law ‘On Forensic Examinations´ and entered  into  the State Register of Certified Forensic Experts.

In the opinion of the Author, the necessity of passing this Bill stems from the absence of any laid down requirements in the Commercial Procedural Code of Ukraine for those recruited by the Court to carry out Forensic Examinations. He thinks that this absence can result in inappropriate or unskilled conduct of Forensic Examinations.

The Author believes, that the passing of this Bill will ensure the appropriate, skilled and unbiased conduct of Forensic Examinations.
