The Law Enforcement Legislative Provision Committee Has Examined the Draft Law on the State Budget of Ukraine 2008

The Bill (Reg. No.4000), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, sets out the major guidelines of Ukraine's development in the forthcoming year.

Attending the Committee's meeting were Delegates from the staff of the General Public Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Home and Internal Affairs, and The State Department of Ukraine for Crime and Punishment.

During their discussion, they formulated their proposals concerning the Bill, with regard to the funding of Law Enforcement bodies.

Based on the outcome of the discussions, the Committee approved the Proposals and forwarded them to the Budget Committee for consideration.
