Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine" (as to support to transparency of ownership of mass media organizations, as well as implementation of principles of state policy in field of television and radio broadcasting)

In particular, the draft law No. 1831 offers to oblige TV organizations and programs providers to disclose information about real ownership structure and provide data on end-beneficiaries; to introduce the mechanism of control over authenticity of the said information; to allow the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council to request additional information about the structure of ownership of the said information activity entities; etc.
