Verkhovna Rada adopts Resolution “On naming Simferopol International Airport after Amet-khan Sultan”

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution “On naming Simferopol International Airport after Amet-khan Sultan.”

In compliance with the document, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine gave the name of commissioned airman, Lieutenant Colonel, distinguished test pilot of the USSR, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Amet-khan Sultan (1920-1971) to Simferopol International Airport.

Respective draft resolution was registered under No. 2796.
