Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations Hryhorii Nemyria participated in presentation of annual report of human rights organizations "Human Rights in Ukraine 2014"

People's deputy called to ensure respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms in Ukraine when implementing security policy of our country.   

"Fundamental human rights and freedoms shall not become a victim of security policy. This problem takes on special significance due to annexation of Crimea and occupation of parts of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts", he stressed.

In words of H.Nemyria "Freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and other fundamental values shall be ensured regardless the situation in the country".

Hryhorii Nemyria drew attention to the problem of internally displaced persons in Ukraine which is getting worse and called to apply all possible efforts to ensure rights and freedoms of this category of citizens. 

Moreover, the Chairperson of the Committee stressed the importance of "constitutional and implementational aspects" in the human rights sphere".
