Having voted for creating committees last week, the Parliament has made the right choice and provided conditions for constructive work, claimed Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada during the Conciliatory Council of deputy factions (groups).
"The fact that last week we managed to form Parliament's operating authorities is, without any exaggeration, extremely important. Because in view of negotiation process and work of the Preparatory Group, we could have been working on creating the committees for two weeks", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Chairperson of the Parliament stressed that budget for the next year shall be adopted by December 26.
"We need to adopt budget by December 26, since local budgets also need to be adopted, and on January 1 people should have the prepared estimates for January. It is a complicated process and we need to act fast", said Volodymyr Groysman.
He stressed the importance of forming the new budget on the principles of financial decentralization.
"The Tax and Budget Codes and, particularly, the decentralization of budget funds and destroying the corruption system, which was created as a rudiment of the Soviet system, shall be the main tasks. A transparent and comprehensible budget shall be created on the basis of these changes", claimed the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
