Dear friends!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 23d establishment anniversary of the Ukrainian intelligence service.
Though your vitally needed work remains invisible, it is hard to overestimate its social importance. That is why people deeply respect your selfless work for the good of our state that is marked not only with the halo of romanticism and mystery, but primarily with readiness to risk yourself for your Homeland showing therewith an all-around training and unique experience.
Developments that recently took place in Ukraine made us see the role played by the intelligence service in a new light. Today you have to work in extremely complicated conditions in order to obtain intelligence information necessary for taking crucial decisions by the leadership of our country. Fate of millions of our compatriots, as well as of our Homeland depends on the preciseness, objectivity and promptness of information and analysis of the developments for the nearest perspective.
I am convinced that Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine will remain not only an efficient tool for protecting national interests of our country and its citizens, but will also be a reliable communicator on the whole range of national defense issues with our foreign partners.
I sincerely wish each of you sound health, personal success, new professional achievements, endurance, harmony and faith in the better future of our Ukrainian land.
