To the workers of radio,

television and telecommunications of Ukraine

Dear friends!

I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Day of radio, television and telecommunications workers!

The one who is master of information is master of the world – in this way information revolution, now spread in all spheres of science and technology and generally in the society, is being characterized. Development of information technologies is an integral part of a modern epoch.

The European Maidan has begun with one calling in the “Facebook” network. After the beating of students, owing to social networks, more than million of citizens of Kyiv congregated on Maidan Nezalezhnosti on December 1, 2013 protesting against lawlessness and total corruption in Ukraine. This way the Revolution of Dignity began. Due to a live broadcast from Maidan, assaulted by special forces, thousands of true patriots came on foot at night to help us out. Only then, jointly, we managed to repel attacks and win.

Ukraine requires honest, unbiased and professional journalists and workers of radio and television. The country needs advanced means of telecommunications and electronic communications: the voice of truth should be heard not only throughout Ukraine, but throughout the world. Only this way, we can win the severe information war that the aggressor fights against us. I am convinced that by joint efforts we will reach this. Happy holiday!
