The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt the bills on cheapening import of helmets, body armor and medicines into the customs territory of Ukraine during conduction of antiterrorist operation by exempting such transactions from taxation (VAT and import duties)

In particular, the Committee recommends that the Parliament should adopt the draft laws on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (re special means of individual protection) (Reg. No. 4199a); on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (re special means of individual protection) (Reg. No. 4199a-1); on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine (re special means of individual protection) (Reg. No. 4200a); and on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine (re special means of individual protection) (Reg. No. 4200a-1).

“In case the bills are adopted in the Parliament, import of protection facilities and medicines will be exempted from VAT and import duties,” informed Vitalii Khomutynnik, Chair of the Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy.
