The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution “On reaction to the fact of breaking an oath of a judge by judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”

Stating that judges of the Constitutional Court violated articles 3, 19, 147-153 of the Constitution of Ukraine,

The Verkhovna Rada establishes:

1. According to clause 5 of chapter five of article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine to dismiss such judges for breaking the oath:  

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Holovin Anatolii Serhiiovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Kolos Mykhailo Ivanovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Markush Maria Andriivna;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Ovcharenko Viacheslav Andriiovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Paseniuk Oleksandr Mykhailovych.

2. To suggest the President of Ukraine to dismiss judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, appointed by the President of Ukraine, for breaking the oath:

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Baulin Yurii Vasyliovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Vdovichenko Serhii Leonidovych.

3. To suggest that the Council of Judges of Ukraine in three days should hold an extraordinary convention of judges of Ukraine where the issue on dismissing such judges of the Constitutional Court, appointed by the convention of judges of Ukraine, for breaking the oath:      

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Bryntsev Vasyl Dmytrovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Hultai Mykhailo Myroslavovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Zaporozhets Mykhailo Petrovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Serheichuk Oleh Anatoliiovych;

judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Shaptala Natalia Konstiantynivna.

4. This Resolution comes into force since the moment of its adoption.
