The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak participated in the events on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak participated in the commemorating ceremony of soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Eternal Glory Park in Kyiv.
Participants of the celebration observed a one-minute silence in commemoration of the deceased, and the honor guard fired a sidearms volley salutes on the occasion of the Victory Day.
The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, First Vice-Prime-Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, RNBO Secretary Andriy Klyuyev, Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov, people’s deputies of Ukraine, government officials, was veterans, citizens and guests of Kyiv participated in the festivities.
Volodymyr Rybak participated in the celebratory concert on the occasion of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945 that was held in the National Arts Palace “Ukraina”.
