The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice recommends that the Parliament should recommit the draft law to amend the Law “On Judicial System and the Status of Judges” (re improvement of provisions on the status of court personnel)

The bill (Reg. No. 2272) aimed at support of current social status of state employees and regulation social relations in the sphere of state service.   

In particular, amendments are to be made to articles 149 and 155 of the Law “On Judicial System and the Status of Judges”.

People’s deputies stressed that the new Law “On State Service” that comes into force on 1 January 2014 does not consist provisions re subsuming the positions of the employees of the Supreme Court, higher specialized courts, appeals courts and courts of original jurisdiction to the respective subgroups of the state employees.
