The Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Education Liliya Hrynevych met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Henrik Litvin

During the meeting, the Parties discussed possibilities for Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the sphere of science and education.

In particular, the attention was drawn to the cooperation of the Committee on Science and Education of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the respective commission of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

The Chairperson of the Committee stressed that Polish experience of educational reforms will come in handy for Ukraine.

“The way Poland passed in the system of educational reforms, positive and negative consequences of this reform are very instructive for Ukraine. Poland is very experienced and has understanding needed for reforming the sphere of education in Ukraine,” Liliya Hrynevych stressed.

During the discussion it was stressed also on the necessity to develop relations between Ukrainian and Polish schools, universities and non-governmental organizations.
