of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society
I send my sincere greetings to the respected Ukrainian Red Cross Society, a powerful public organization that consistently and self-devotedly works on preservation and multiplication of traditions of practical humanism.
Activity of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society is an outstanding example of humanitarian actions taken to support vulnerable categories of population and an essential part of state measures aimed at implementing medical and social programs, as well as providing assistance to victims of emergency situations.
Humanism, sympathy and mercy have always been the distinctive features of members and voluntaries of the Red Cross. Following the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross movement, you affirm the most valuable human qualities with your inspired work. You are the humanitarian consciousness of society that implements itself in care for the lonely, the sick, the disabled, orphans and in participation in disaster and technogenic accidents clean-up operations.
I am convinced in further strengthening and broadening of the multilateral activities of the Red Cross Society; in increasing its role in preserving human life and health; as well as in support of our vulnerable fellow citizens and in establishment of the principles of international humanitarian law in the society.
I wish you creative inspiration, fruitful work and success of your noble mission to serve the Ukrainian people.
