The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities listened to the report of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine on the results of auditing the use of the State Budget of Ukraine for 2011 and first half-year of 2012 (regarding financial support of non-governmental organizations of veterans and people with disabilities)

The report was presented in accordance to clause 14 of the Law “On the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.’

Having listened to the report, the committee drafted recommendations which were sent to the central executive authorities.

The committee stressed that planning of expenditures on the social security of people with disabilities and war veterans under the budget programs is one of the most pressing issues.
