Near 40 participants, including representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation member states, as well as representatives of executive and legislative authorities of Ukraine will participate in the meeting in Yalta.
The participants shall discuss issues in regard to search and rescue operations at sea among the BSEC member states and a number of organizational issues.
Additional information: The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) was established on February 26, 1993. It includes 12 countries.
Three specialized committees function within the Assembly:
- Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee (Head – Gagik Minasyan, Armenia);
- Legal and Political Affairs Committee (Head – Mikhail Yemelyanov, Russia);
- Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee (Head – Jale Aliyeva, Azerbaijan).
Assembly’s Committees hold periodic meetings within the PABSEC member states in between the General Assembly’s sessions and secure preparation of the respective decisions of the Assembly in coordination with the PABSEC International Secretariat.
