Statement of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget Oksana Kaletnyk

04 April 2013, 10:34

Information revealed in the mass media regarding the decision taken by the Committee on Budget on April 3, 2013 to support the suggestion of passing a no-confidence motion against the Government is untrue.

This issue should be certainly considered. However, in order to do so, it is first of all necessary to adhere to all the respective procedures and regulatory norms.

At present, the work of the Committee on Budget resembles “Copperfield tricks”.

No voting on the issue of no-confidence motion against the Government was not conducted.

In connection with lack of quorum, the abovementioned issue was not put to vote. It was neither included into the agenda.

Thus, nobody has voted for this decision.
