The Committee on Social Policy and Labour recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law to amend several laws of Ukraine (re ensuring publicity and transparency of the activity of mandatory state social insurance funds)

The bill (Reg. No. 2106) suggests establishing additional legislative mechanisms to ensure publicity and transparency of the activity of mandatory state social insurance funds.

Respective amendments are to made to the laws: “On Mandatory State Social Insurance in Case of Unemployment”, “On Mandatory State Social Insurance due to Temporary Disability and Expenses Caused by Burial”, and “On Mandatory State Social Insurance against Accidents at Work and Occupational Diseases that Caused Disability”.

Committee members believe that implementation of the bill will allow establish additional legislative mechanisms for ensuring publicity and transparency of the activity of mandatory state social insurance funds and increase trust in social insurance funds on the part of the citizens of Ukraine  and the state.
