The following laws were adopted:
“On ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union to amend Visa Facilitation Agreement between Ukraine and the European Community”
The Agreement expands category of the citizens of Ukraine who have the right to simplified registration procedure for free and multiple entry visas; refines the procedure of visa registration for representatives of mass media; determines clear multiple-entry visa validity time; provides the possibility for urgent visa processing (during 3 days) for people residing a considerable distance from the place of visa application submission; and introduces visa free travel regime for the citizens of Ukraine using biometric business passports.
Implementation of the Agreement will contribute to further liberalization of the visa regime with the European Union, development of contacts between Ukraine and the EU member states, creation of the foundation for the future introduction by the EU party visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine.
The respective bill was registered under No. 0015.
“On amending the Law of Ukraine “On Restoring a Debtor's Solvency or Recognizing It Bankrupt” re prohibition to file a petition for bankruptcy of mining enterprises”
The legislative act substitutes words and figures “January 1, 2013” with words and figures “January 1, 2015” in the clause 3 of section X of “Final Provisions” of the Law “On Restoring a Debtor's Solvency or Recognizing It Bankrupt”.
The respective bill was revised and registered under No. 1109.
In the result of consideration of proposals of the President of Ukraine
One Law was recommitted to the Committee for revision; 4 laws were rejected.
The following resolutions were adopted:
on holding parliamentary hearings “On matters of youth and children recreation and invigoration” (Reg. No. 2271);
on holding parliamentary hearings “On the status of satisfying judgments in Ukraine” (Reg. No. 2506);
on holding parliamentary hearings "On the status of human rights observance in Ukraine" (Reg. No. 2085);
on holding parliamentary hearings “On the state, measures and prospects of Chornobyl aftermath mitigation” (Reg. No. 2031).
The resolutions on early elections of village, township and city mayors and on establishing the Interim Inquiry Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were also adopted.
198 parliamentary enquiries were declared.
A number of documents were adopted in the first reading or rejected.
