The bill (Reg. No. 1070) suggests excluding part two of article 5 of the current law “determining the minimum subsistence level maintenance” in connection with the fact that according to current legislation, the term “the minimum subsistence level maintenance” is not a state
social standard and, as a result, cannot be applied to determine state social assistance for low-income families.
The bill suggests also introduction of automatic (without addressing the authorized representative of a family) recalculation of the amount of assistance, in case of approval of a new minimum subsistence level amount.
Committee members believe that the bill can be adopted in the first reading with consideration of remarks and suggestions while preparation for the second reading.
