To the participants in warfare

on the territory of other states

Dear friends!

It is a pleasure to greet you on the occasion of celebration of the Commemoration day of participants in warfare on the territory of other states and of the 24th anniversary of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

Years go passing, the world changes, new generations come, but the feeling of deep respect and gratitude to heroic soldiers-internationalists serving in the hotspots of our planet and risking not only their health but also life, will forever remain in human memory.

On this day let me on behalf of people’s deputies and on my own behalf bow low before the bright memory of those who performing their military and civic duty, will forever remain lying under alien and distant sky.

Even today, the success of peacekeeping missions largely depends on the representatives of Ukraine. The best sons and daughters of young and independent Ukraine honorably carry our flag affirming the everlasting concepts of valour, mercy, self-abnegation and humanity.

I am convinced that your deed of arms is the best example for the revival of such necessary traits of our fellow citizens, and youth in particular, as love to Homeland, courage and generosity.

I wish you happiness, sound health, long years of fruitful life, metal strength and support of the loved ones!

With respect

                                                                                        Volodymyr RYBAK
