The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy considered the draft resolution “On hearing the information of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding consequences of Ukraine’s joining the World Trade Organization (WTO)”

The bill (Reg. No. 1164) suggests hearing information of the government regarding efficiency of Ukraine’s joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) during the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in February 2013.
Subjects of legislative initiative believe that adoption of the bill will allow objectively assess current state of affairs in the sphere of economic cooperation with the WTO countries and assess prospects of Ukraine on this way.
Committee members express themselves in favour of hearing information of the government on this issue one month after the adoption of the resolution.
