The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stresses that elections in five “problem” districts, where no deputies were elected, should be strictly regulated by the law. However, we need to receive the conclusion of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, he said.

During the meeting with the journalists on Monday, Volodymyr Rybak stated that the Parliament has registered a draft resolution on the issue, but it will not be considered without the conclusion of the Constitutional Court. He informed also that he has entrusted the specialized committee with examination of this issue.

Speaking about the perspective of appointing elections in Kyiv, the Chairman of the Parliament did not exclude the possibility that elections to the Kyiv Council and elections of the Kyiv mayor will be held at the end of the first half of the current year.
