The Committee on Judicial Policy held a meeting to determine organizational issues and approve the Work Plan for the period of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation

In particular, it was resolved to establish six subcommittees:

 

on judicial policy, regulatory acts, standards of legislation and planning of legislative activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, headed by people’s deputy Serhiy Brayko;

 

on amendment of the Constitution of Ukraine and the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, constitutional law, conformance assessment of bills and other acts of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Constitution of Ukraine, headed by people’s deputy Mykola Levchenko;

 

on civil legislation, headed by people’s deputy Vasyl Poliakov;

 

on administrative legislation, headed by people’s deputy Mykola Katerynchuk;

 

on organization and operation of justice and executive service bodies, headed by people’s deputy Andriy Mokhnyk;

 

on organization and operation of notariate, headed by people’s deputy Serhiy Mishchenko.

 

During the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation, the Committee intends to consider a number of bills. The head of the Committee Valeriy Pysarenko drew the attention of people’s deputies to the bills that are to be considered in the second reading.

 

The Work Plan stipulates also holding committee hearings “On the Practice of Implementation of the Law “On International Private Law”, and “On the Practice of Implementation of the Law “On Notariate”.
